Several media/news sources indicate that famous YouTuber Ducky Bhai was detained over promoting a gambling app. The arrest occurred at the airport in Lahore. Officials have stated that investigations have already started against the creator of the content. Many allegations have been put against him, and his name is currently on the Provisional National Identification List (PNIL), as stated by sources at the Cyber Crime Agency. He is presently under observation regarding these allegations.
A case against the famous YouTuber Ducky Bhai, whose real name is Saad ur Rehman, was brought before the Lahore District Court on Sunday. The allegations against Ducky Bhai involved the promotion of gambling apps and the commission of fraud.
The court gave the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) a two-day physical remand, and they were instructed to bring him back on August 19th. The Duty Judicial Magistrate further directed the NCCIA to present a comprehensive investigation report at the next session.
The complaint, known as Family Information Report No. 196/2025, includes accusations based on Sections 13, 14, 25, and 26 of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) and Sections 420 and 294-B of the Pakistan Penal Code.
He is accused of pushing gambling information and advertising illicit gambling apps on his websites, according to the First Information Report (FIR), which states that Saad ur Rehman is being investigated.
To make matters worse, officials said that famous YouTuber Ducky Bhai tried to leave the country to avoid the pending court proceedings. But immigration agents detained him when they discovered that his name was on the watchlist maintained by the PNIL.
It is not the first time he has gotten into this critical situation. Earlier in 2024, the CIA police in Lahore’s Model Town took Ducky Bhai and his wife, Aroob Jatoi, into custody. Authorities arrested them after they allegedly displayed a firearm in a live video on a social media platform.
